 Robert has over 30 years experience in successful infrastructure and energy project development, financing and construction in Africa. Robert has a proven track record as a start-up energy and infrastructure  entrepreneur. He started, built and publicly listed his last energy company.  Then in 2010, sold it for over USD$300 million before heading a pan-African energy group from Johannesburg.  Robert holds a B.A. (Economics), a Masters of Public Administration and is a Chartered Director

Rita Theil

Rita has more than 25 years experience in advising public and private power, infrastructure, water and energy companies (with Citibank and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in NYC and London). Around the world, she has advised governments, companies and investors on cross-border mergers, acquisitions, privatizations and financing strategies in power, water and gas. She has a B.Soc.Sci., an MBA and an LLB, is a Member of the Bar in Ontario, Canada and the UK and, is a Chartered Director.

Martin is Chairman of Zimbabwe-Africa Infrastructure Development Group (ZAIDG) and President-Elect of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations. He serves on the World Federation of Engineering Organizations and has responsibility for anti-corruptions initiatives. He has worked with our team for several years on the US$2B Kariba and Hwange projects in Zimbabwe  

Edwin Obiri

Edwin is a serial entrepreneur in the oil & gas and pipelines industries with active businesses in both Southern and West Africa.  Edwin has collaborated with us on pipeline projects in Ethiopia and Ghana. Edwin brings great business experience (notably in oil & gas and pipelines as well as a network of government and industry contacts in West Africa.  

Steven Kuo

Steven is a political risk consultant. He has consulted to all the major state-owned Chinese construction companies operating in Africa. He has regularly published academic and popular articles on different aspects of China’s emergence in Africa for the past decade. He was formerly the lead consultant to Chinese clients in Africa for Control Risks. He is a Research Fellow at the Shanghai International Studies University.
